Rods

As standard, our sieve webs are equipped with spring steel rods, Class C (DIN 17228). However, we can also manufacture the rods from special alloy steel (CrSi), stainless steel 304 or 316, or fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP). However, other materials can be used upon request, ensuring the final sieve web perfectly meets your requirements.

Without using rod coating, we can achieve gap sizes down to a minimum of 5mm. By using rod coating, we can achieve a gap size of 2mm.

To determine the correct width of the sieve web, it is important that the rivets have the correct gauge. The gauge is the distance between the two outermost rivet holes, measured center-to-center (c.t.c.) When ordering individual rivet rods, it is also important to specify the gauge as well as the hole spacing at the ends of the rivet rod. Unless otherwise specified, the distance between the two holes at the ends is 20mm for a traction belt width of 50mm. For traction belt widths of 60mm or more, this distance is 32mm. Deviations from these standards are available upon request. The hole spacings can then be changed to 24mm and 30mm respectively.
