Plastic conveyor belts
Plastic conveyor belts refer to belts composed of synthetic materials with fabric layers, available in various colors and thicknesses. The advantage of plastic conveyor belts is that a specific belt type and material are available for virtually every application. The options for cleats, fingers, (corrugated) sidewalls, and tracking profiles are also virtually limitless. Plastic conveyor belts can be supplied both endless and with belt fasteners.
Rubber conveyor belts
Rubber conveyor belts are used in medium-duty and heavy-duty applications within agriculture, storage and transshipment companies, and logistics.
Rubber conveyor belts and Chevron belts offer high mechanical strength, excellent impact resistance, and remain flexible, even at low temperatures. Compared to plastic conveyor belts, it is important to always take a larger pulley diameter into account. A wide range of cleats can be fitted to rubber conveyor belts, although the options are less extensive than those available for plastic conveyor belts.
