Description
ZIBO Mole Channel Drainage Unit
The ZIBO mole channel drainage unit is designed to easily provide drainage for your field without moving or displacing soil. Because the soil remains in place, the layers stay intact. Clay soil is most suitable for this type of drainage unit, as the underground channel remains most intact. Sandy soil is also suitable, but it can close up again more quickly depending on the conditions.
The mole channel allows water to flow away easily along the path of least resistance. This helps to prevent puddles on the field in a simple way. A self-seeking ball is mounted at the bottom of the ripper, which further enlarges the mole channel, ensuring it remains intact for longer. Unlike a ditch or trench digger, no opening is left in the field, preventing harm to livestock.
The ZIBO mole channel drainage unit is standardly equipped with a serrated cutting disc that cuts the top layer in front of the tine. Due to the serration, the disc does not slip and rotates consistently; the circumference of the disc is fully sharpened to ensure optimal performance. The ripper is height-adjustable and can be set as desired, including via the top link on top of the unit.
Optionally, a spring-loaded pressure roller with cutting ring can be used. This ensures that the groove is pressed flat evenly again. Because the disc remains centered in the pressure roller, there is always an opening in the top layer, allowing water to be easily drained away.
